This is a handmade coastal décor business. The client already had a website but it was built with a static HTML template and she wanted to use it as a proper online store.
The main problem was that the website looked like an eCommerce store but many of the functions were not working properly. The client is not very technical, so managing products and making website changes was also difficult.
The client was facing below challenges,
- Add to Cart was not working
- Shopping Cart was not working
- Stripe payment was not working
- Checkout was not working properly
- Contact form was not working
- No proper shipping functionality
- No free shipping option
- Products couldn’t be easily added or updated
- Menu items couldn’t be easily managed
- Homepage slider couldn’t be updated
- Homepage sections couldn’t be easily updated
- Instagram feed was not working properly
Anyway, instead of trying to fix the existing static HTML website one by one, I converted the whole website into WordPress + WooCommerce while keeping the original design and styling.

Now the client can manage products and website content much more easily without needing to be technical, while customers can properly browse products, add them to the cart, checkout and make payments.
