Case Study: Shopify Custom Footer Development with Liquid
Having a nice-looking website footer does make a difference.
No one likes a flat, boring footer that leads them nowhere. A footer should have the most important links, contact information, and social media links to help customers navigate the store and build trust.
That’s what my client thought, so he asked me to develop this custom footer for his Shopify store.
Problems
- Mobile footer looked messy and was hard to navigate.
- There was no easy way to add social media links.
- No place to add store contact information.
- Menus were hard to edit and did not look good.
Solution
Using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and responsive development, I developed the footer exactly as the client wanted.
- All important links are in place.
- Social media linking is now just 2 clicks away.
- Contact information is present and easily editable.
- Footer menus are easier to manage.
- Mobile version looks neat and is easy to navigate.
Technical Implementation
The footer was built as a custom Shopify Liquid theme section and integrated with Shopify’s navigation and theme settings.
